Roof cleaning that brings tired roofs back to life.
Moss, lichen and algae do more than spoil the look of a roof. Left alone, they hold moisture against the tiles and shorten the life of the roof. We remove them safely and gently, with no high-pressure damage to your tiles.

A careful, low-pressure approach
We treat and clean roofs using a soft wash method. A biodegradable treatment is applied at low pressure to kill moss and algae at the root, so the roof stays cleaner for longer, rather than being blasted with high pressure that can lift tiles and strip protective surface layers.
Moss that has built up is lifted away by hand or by gentle rinsing, and gutters below are cleared so debris does not wash straight into them.
Suitable for most roof types
- Concrete and clay tiles
- Natural and fibre-cement slate
- Flat roofs, porches and garage roofs
- Outbuildings, annexes and garden rooms
- Shaded north-facing roof slopes where moss grows fastest
What to expect
Roof treatments work gradually. You will see an immediate improvement after the clean, and over the following weeks rain washes the remaining growth away so the finish keeps improving. We will explain exactly what to expect when we quote.

Roof Cleaning questions
Will cleaning damage my roof tiles?
No. We use low-pressure soft washing and hand removal, not high-pressure jets that can cause damage.
How long before the roof looks clean?
You will notice a difference straight away, and the treatment continues to work over the following weeks as rain clears the remaining growth.
Is it safe for my garden and plants?
We use biodegradable products and take care to protect planting, ponds and pets while we work.
Ready for a cleaner, brighter property?
Send a few details and photos. We will come back to you with a clear quote, usually within a few hours.
